The Web site has changed -- if you're seeing this note, you need to refresh your cache, which should take you to the new Arctic Cam site. It looks slightly different -- there's no bookstore on the new site. Since it is new, you will have to reregister, which is pretty simple. There are many Arctic Cammers already over there. There are a couple of other changes, and many new features in the works. If you have any questions, please send me a note at jstricker@newsminer.com.
Oh yeah....I dont know why but the "London Broil" seems to make a better tasting stew than the "stew meat chunks" they sell for making beef stews.Maybe its because of the cut of the beef,I dunno, but maybe someone out there knows why.I tried it with the "stew beef chunks" but it wasnt near as good.
Hi to all!!!! Brand new Acer computer.Motherboard is easy to replace, doesnt require sending it to the factory,I can go to Radio Shack for parts and blah blah blah...Instead of fixing the ancient one---just bought a new one.Back up and running.....Here is my London Broil Stew---Get a "London Broil." Get 1 can of Campbells "French Onion Soup."(This is the "secret weapon")Get 2 cans of sliced carrots,2 cans of sliced potatoes.Put the French Onion Soup in a two quart, round crock pot.Add Salt and Pepper,Garlic Salt, about 4 or 5 good shakes form its shaker, and some Steak Seasoning, about 2 or 3 good shakes from the shaker.Stir it together.Put crock pot on "high" Add the London Broil. You might have to cut it in half, but dont worry, you wont be able to slice it when its done.It will be very tender.Add your carrots and potatoes----thats "taters" for us southern types LOL!!----and as much water to fill the crock pot to about 2 inches below the top.Let it simmer on "high" all day.Ive even started it late the night before. The meat will be so saturated with the French Onion Soup that the last bite will be as good as the first.Serve with a cold salad, and some rolls to sop up the broth. It goes well with a red wine, beer, sof drinks,or even a tall, cold, glass of milk.Let me know how it all turns out if you try it.You can even add corn, some green peppers---but I stick with the Potaotes and carrots. It will also leave leftovers for a small family, for a couple of days.Ive even picked out some beef and put it on some bread with mayo.lettuce and tomatoes with some salt and pepper to take to work!!!!!

and the new one

Has anyone else found this out?
Where'd everybody go?
No news? What's happening?
Or perhaps the "Big Eye" on Fairbanks?
Shouldn't it be the SubArcticCam?
